Reservation Policies
Deposits
We require one half the total due in order to hold your reservation. The balance is due no later than 60 days prior to your arrival. To reserve the entire house, we require full payment 120 days prior to your arrival.
Taxes
In addition to room rates, taxes are due on all accommodations in the State of Hawaii. They amount to 12.42%, a combination of occupancy tax and a general excise tax. For stays from July 1, 2010 the tax rate will be 13.42%
Cancellation Policy (Individual Suites)
Notice of cancellation must be received at least 60 days prior to check in to receive a deposit refund, less $100 processing fee. All monies will be forfeited if cancellation is received with less than 60 days notice, unless the room can be re-booked. There are no refunds for early departure unless we are able to rebook the room.
Cancellation Policy (Entire House)
Notice of cancellation must be received at least 120 days prior to check in to receive a deposit refund, less $300 processing fee. All monies will be forfeited if cancellation is received with less than 120 days notice, unless the Suites can be re-booked. There are no refunds for early departure unless we are able to rebook the Suites.
Travel Cancellation Insurance
Travel insurance typically covers your losses if family medical crises or certain other emergencies force you to abandon or abbreviate a trip. There are a number of different companies offering travel insurance over the internet.
Security and Lost Item Fees
By giving us your credit card number, you agree to be responsible for additional housekeeping charges (for excessive cleaning, laundry or check out past 11 AM), damage to the property, ALL UNITS ARE NON-SMOKING, use beyond the scope (no parties, receptions, luaus or other commercial use), occupancy beyond permitted maximum number of people and lost items. Before checking out, please be certain to check your car trunk for any beach towels. There is a $25 fee for lost keys or towels.
Arrival and Departure
Check in time is 4pm and check out is 11am.
Parking
There is free parking on the property. One space is provided for each Suite.
